ELLIE WINS CARE HOME WORKER OF THE YEAR 2021

We’re delighted to announce that Ellie Baldwin, team leader at 8 Acres in Norfolk, won Care Home Worker of the Year at the Great British Care Award’s East of England regional final last Thursday night.

The awards are a celebration of excellence across the care sector delivered via a series of regional awards ceremonies, paying tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

Also finalists at the East of England’s awards ceremony, of whom we’re equally proud for getting so far, were our following colleagues and services:
– The Anchorage, Care Team of the Year
– Tara Currie, 8 Acres, Care Home Registered Manager of the Year
– Marie Roberts, Endurance Care, Frontline Worker of the Year

They attended the ceremony with their Regional Operations Manager Jill Hopcraft. In total we’ve had a huge 25 colleagues shortlisted for awards this year, a massive achievement of which we’re incredibly proud and we can’t wait to find out if we have any more winners joining Ellie in going through to the national finals in March 2022.
