National Care Group are delighted to have received so many high-quality entries for our ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition’ which has its deadline yesterday.
The campaign, which was launched on 24th July, aimed to promote the latest government guidance surrounding wearing face coverings whilst shopping, whilst also encouraging active participation amongst our services.
As the deadline has now passed, National Care Group are happy to announce that we received over 100 entries for the competition.
We are especially proud to see that most of our entries have come from the individuals we support, who with the support of their staff team, have shown amazing creativity and imagination with their designs.
Karen Lewis, Chief Operations Officer and one of the judges for the competition, was happy to see that the campaign was able to achieve its initial target and that people entered in their numbers:
“When the guidance surrounding mandatory face coverings was first announced, we took this as an opportunity to promote the importance of this within our services and to create activities that everyone can get involved in.
I am delighted not just by the number of entries, but also by the quality of them, we have seen such amazing creativity from our contestants, who have really expressed themselves through their face coverings.”
As lockdown begins to ease in certain regions across the UK, National Care Group would like to remind staff and the individuals we support that following the government guidelines is a major priority in ensuring the safety of everyone involved at our services.
We believe that this campaign, which ran for just over two weeks, has been able to capture the innovative approach National Care Group have taken to communicate updates and promote active participation within our services. National Care Group would like to thank everyone who has entered the ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition’ and wish them all the very best of luck.
