As the deadline approaches for entries into our ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition’ members of our Operations team have been discussing the long-term impact this campaign will have as we continue to see developments regarding COVID-19.

Marie Hilton, Regional Operations Manager: North West, saw the campaign as a perfect opportunity to integrate her services and promote activities for people to get involved.

“With our services based across the North West, this campaign was able to really bring people together and have people show off their creativity.

Given the recent lockdown restrictions that have been put in place within this region, the campaign has reminded staff and the individuals we support that safety and following the government guidelines is still a priority.”

Marie also took the opportunity to thank the staff and the individuals we support for entering the competition in their numbers.

“Seeing the entries made by the individuals we support has made me so proud to be the manager of the North West region!

Such active participation and commitment shown by staff is what makes this campaign an innovative way to promote government guidelines and have some fun whilst doing so.”
