It has been a busy couple of days for several of our staff and individuals we support at National Care Group, with 6 being nominated as finalists in the regions biggest care awards.
5 of our staff are finalists at the Great British Care Awards…
- Nicola Airey, Training Manager at National Care Group is a finalist in The Workforce Development Award
- Dominic Dyer, Business Development Consultant, and Stephen Penketh, Business Development Manager, are finalists in the Care Assessor / Care Planner Award
- Leah Whelan, Registered Manager at Affinity Supporting People, is a finalist in The Home Care Registered Manager Award
- Simon Doe, Support Worker at Affinity Supporting People, is a finalist in The Home Care Worker Award
Whilst we also have an individual we support who is a finalist in The Learning Disability and Autism Leaders Award.
Amy Rabbett is supported by the team at Affinity Supporting People and a few months ago, Amy was admitted to hospital in an emergency with a life threatening condition.
Amy is home now and well on the road to recovery – her support team nominated her for this award due to her sheer courage and determination that she showed throughout her treatment and recovery.
Congratulations to all our successful finalists and everyone at National Care Group would like to wish them all good luck on the judging day!
