This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, which aims to educate and increase awareness about mental ill health in the UK.
We all have times when we feel down or stressed. Most of the time those feelings pass. But sometimes they develop into a more serious problem and that could happen to any one of us.
As an employer of over 2,000 staff, who work so incredibly hard in supporting vulnerable adults with complex and challenging needs, we have made it a priority that we support our staff with their mental health and well-being whenever possible.
Mental Health Awareness Week is a perfect opportunity for us to show how committed we are in support you and helping to tackle the negative stigma surrounding mental ill health!
So how are we getting involved?
From creating a well-being page on the intranet to offering you discounts on your gym membership, NCG have got you covered when it comes to supporting you with your Mental, Financial and Physical well-being.
To find out more, why not download a copy of our official Mental Health and Well-being Guide, where you can see what support is available to you, how NCG and our services are getting involved and access all the free resources available to you.
Throughout the week, we will be posting content on the intranet from articles provided by our EAP provider, Health Assured, and blogs written by our services – make sure to stay tuned!
In the mean time, why not ask your Line Manager if they are organising a drop-in session this week for you to start a conversation about mental health within the workplace.
You can find out more information and access all content related to Mental Health Awareness Week on our dedicated Staff Well-being page.
If you would like to help your staff cope better with their mental health or would like to share your mental health story, please send an email to email@example.com
You may also take part in our Mental Health Survey which allows you to provide feedback on the support you are currently receiving or would like to receive to better help with your mental health and well-being.
