National Care Group are delighted to announce that Jake Warburton, Support Worker for Shelton Care, has won the NCG Outstanding Achievement Award!
It was a tough one to call, with some fantastic entries from each of our managers, but our Directors chose Jake as the worthy winner for the award.
Jake is a Senior Support Worker supporting a staff team of 12 staff and 7 people we support.
Jakes passion of his service user and for the company he works for is contagious, his staff team are all so enthusiastic because of his approach to them and the outcomes the service gets.
He completes an Improvement Plan every month showing what has been implemented and what outcomes have been achieved for our service users, so that his staff team can see how well they have done and what they are striving for next month.
He has developed information files for staff to enable them to understand how their roles and responsibilities relate to the Key Lines of Enquiry instead of being just a book of guidelines.
Jake regularly arranges activities that many would see as impossible for some of his client group but with his passion for the service and his “can do” attitude, he breaks down many barriers.
The motivation he continually gives to his team members keeps morale positive and the relationships he has built with the service users family members has built a solid team and a homely environment for the service users.
Katie Walklet, Area Operations Manager, was so proud: “I’m so happy that Jake has won this award. He is an absolute star and it’s great to see that he is being acknowledge for his dedication.”
As part of this award, he has won a £20 Love2Shop gift card voucher and a certificate signed by the Directors of National Care Group.
Everyone at National Care Group would like to congratulate Jake on winning this award!
