National Care Group would like to congratulate the team at Essential Care and Support Limited for winning the Managing Director Awards!
The team includes: Sharon Moody, Ann Fraser, Deborah McKenna and Bridie Morris.
The judges were amazed by the incredible dedication the team showed in supporting someone for over 10 years and going above and beyond to provide her with the care she needed.
A special mention to Julie Cowens, Registered Manager for Essential Care and Support Limited, who entered the team for the award and spoke about the amazing work the team have done on a regular basis.
Dave Stanhope, Managing Director, was delighted for the team: “A really tough one to call this month, with some fantastic entries, but the team at Essential Care and Support are worthy winners with such a heartfelt story.
The team showed amazing care for the whole 10 years and played a vital role in ensuring that the service user, even in her final days, was given the dignity and respect that she deserved.”
Pat Ward, Area Operations Manager, was proud of the achievement: “I am very proud that the team has won this award. They have shown compassion throughout and went to great lengths to ensure the person’s final wishes were granted.”
Julie Cowens, Area Operations Manager, said: “I am immensely happy that the team have been recognised for the care they have given to a person in the end stages of life.
It shows their commitment to the people we support, not only during this time but at all other times.”
